Lesson Types

We are a homeschool-friendly studio that offers daytime and evening music lesson. We have space for family members who would like to wait and read, work, or just enjoy a quiet environment with free WiFi.

Private Lessons

One-on-one sessions with a teacher covering instrument fundamentals, music theory, artistry, and expression.

Available For:

Piano, Violin & Viola, Voice, Ukulele, Recorder

Group Lessons

Group lessons with multiple students and a teacher covering instrument fundamentals, ensemble play, music theory, artistry, and expression.

Available For:

Piano, Violin & Viola, Voice, Ukulele, Recorder

Music Theory

Group Music Theory Lessons with multiple students to help teach students music theory fundamentals, history, harmony, counterpoint, and analysis and prepare them for improved music fluency and music exams.

Other Important Info

Instrument Requirements:
  • Piano - A keyboard, digital piano, or acoustic piano at home.  Must have weighted keys and a damper pedal.  Preferably 88 keys from the start.  Level 2+ students must acquire a piano that is 88 keys

  • Violin / Viola - An instrument kit with violin/viola, bow, rosin, shoulder rest, simple cotton rag, music stand (for home), mute, and a tuner or tuning app (ex. ClearTune).  Instruments can be rented from Riedstra’s Violin Shop (https://www.riedstrasviolinshop.com/) for a reasonable price at a variety of levels of quality.

  • Voice - Bring a bottle of water and a warmed up voice each week

  • Ukulele - A quality ukulele (preferably $100+) suited to the student’s taste with a strap and a tuner or tuning app (ex. ClearTune).  Please no toy or thick gloss ukeleles.

  • Recorder - A Yamaha Soprano Baroque recorder with a J cloth and the cleaning wand in the carrying bag.

Lesson Hours:
  • Evening Lessons are Monday to Thursday from 3:30 pm - 7:30 pm
    Daytime / Homeschool Lessons are Monday to Wednesday from 9:30 am - 12:00 pm
